Who is Carlos Jimenez, LAc, LMT
Carlos is a NYS Licensed Acupuncturist and Massage Therapist with over 25 years experience in the field of holistic wellness. In 1994, he began his career after graduating from the Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy and followed up with a Masters' in Acupuncture from Tri-State College of Acupuncture in 2012. He also studied Sports Medicine Acupuncture under well known acupuncturist, Matt Callison, in 2013.
A treatment with Carlos consists of doing a combination of classical and traditional styles of acupuncture with trigger point dry needling. Treatments are geared towards pain and musculoskeletal management as well as treating the underlying constitutional dysfunctions. Acupuncture sessions may include Tuina (Chinese style bodywork), gua sha, cupping, and electro-stim, to reach the planned treatment goals.
As a massage therapist, Carlos performs all modalities of massage but specializes in Deep Tissue, Sports, and Medical Massage.
