Who is Christian Parraga, LAc
Driven by a deep personal experience with the transformative power of acupuncture, Christian began his journey as a patient of a masterful practitioner of Japanese acupuncture in Brooklyn, NY. This experience ignited a passion for this ancient healing art, leading Christian to join his acupuncturist as an apprentice. He gained invaluable hands-on experience in pulse diagnosis, meridian palpation, various needling techniques, and abdominal diagnosis.
During his formal education at New York College of Health Professions, Christian had the privilege of learning from leading experts in diverse fields, including Gynecology and Fertility, Orthopedic and Sports Injury, Classic Chinese Acupuncture, and Korean Acupuncture. This comprehensive training provided him a strong foundation to successfully treat various ailments.
Since then, Christian has dedicated his career to helping others find relief through acupuncture. He has practiced in several multidisciplinary clinics, focusing on Physical Rehabilitation, Post-MVA Pain Management, and Complementary Medicine. Christian has successfully addressed a wide range of conditions, including Bell's Palsy, perimenopausal symptoms, herniated/bulging discs, rotator cuff injuries, knee and ankle injuries, among others.
