David Foster is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, born and raised in New York. He earned his Masters degree in the Science of Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from Pacific College in 2013. His training included four years of education in the principles of acupuncture and Chinese herbs, as well as Tui-Na massage techniques and nutrition. David spent his first few years in private practice in Los Angeles and now splits his time between Manhattan and The Bronx. One day a week he apprentices as a fellow of Advanced Clinical Practice in Chinatown under internationally renowned practitioner, Dr. Frank Butler.
David holds a black belt in Shorin Ryu Karate, though since 2008 has been a more devout student of yoga and Qi-Gong. Prior to becoming an amazing Eastern Medicine practitioner, he spent 15 years traveling the world as a stand-up comedian and is a regularly contributing blogger to the online publication, Elephant Journal, as well as his own site, davidfosteracupuncture.com.
David specializes in physical pain, digestive and autoimmune conditions, and believes in every person’s capacity to heal any ailment with the proper effort and approach. Tambien David habla espanol.
