Natalia Medero is an Alternative Medicine practitioner with a Diplomate of Chinese Medicine, licensed in New York State. She graduated from the University of Bridgeport and obtained her Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She’s a board certified Acupuncture Physician with a National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.
Natalia comes from a family with a strong Agriculture background. Growing up with a grandmother who was a big proponent of “kitchen healthcare”, she values natural herbal remedies along with acupuncture as a way to keep the body in a state of vitality. She’s a proud mother of a son who is a Neurophysiologist and currently practicing in Boston, Massachusetts.
Natalia initially discovered the benefits of Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine 18 years ago when she was involved in a motor vehicle accident after a bad injury to her neck and back. Natalia heard about Chinese medicine from her primary care doctor and was treated solely with acupuncture and Chinese herbs. Natalia learned first hand about the rapid pain relief and healing ability of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. After this positive experience Natalia dedicated her career to becoming a practitioner. Natalia’s special interest in using acupuncture as a first line treatment to prevent surgery, or if surgery is necessary, acupuncture is utilized to reduce pain and speed rehabilitation post-operatively.
Natalia has studied abroad at the Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Shengyang, China earning her internship certificate in Chinese medicine. She specializes in the treatment of women’s health, sports injuries and pain management. She tailors her treatment that will provide your body the space to regain balance and harmony, as well as a literal and figurative “therapeutic touch” to your overall wellness journey.
While her focuses are broad, her treatments are thorough. She has helped many women on their journey to balance their health and always takes a look at each issue holistically. She loves that TCM looks at the body as a whole and helps to reconnect our mind, body and soul. When she isn’t practicing acupuncture, she enjoys cooking, traveling, staying active and making downtime for reading and self-care.
