Who is Umadavie (aka Uma) Persaud, LMT
Umadavie is a NYS licensed massage therapist with extensive experience in the medical rehabilitation field. She graduated with an Associate Degree in Massage Therapy from the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences. Her work experience includes providing therapeutic massage at Manhattan Medical Healthcare and Bronx Wellness Acupuncture and Massage.
As a massage therapist, she has always been interested in how the body works and traditional healing practices. She believes that massage therapy is a great way to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and ease pain. She’s passionate about helping people feel their best and reach their wellness goals. She is specialized in medical massage therapy incorporating deep tissue massage, Swedish, trigger point and Myofascial release therapy in her sessions.
