Hot Stone
With Hot Stone massage, warmed stones are placed by the therapist on certain areas of the body, such as acupressure points, or may be used as massage tools along with other massage techniques throughout the session. They can also be temporarily left in place while the therapist works on other areas of the body. Hot stones can be quite soothing and relaxing as they transmit heat deep into the body.
Thai Massage
Thai massage uses passive stretching and gentle pressure. Guided by the body’s energy lines, the therapist uses his or her body to move the client into a variety of positions. Thai massage includes compression of muscles, joint mobilization, and acupressure to increase flexibility, relieve muscle and joint tension and balances the body’s energy systems. The massage takes place on a mat on the floor and loose fitting clothes is recommended.
Shiatsu Massage
Shiatsu Massage
Incorporates ‘finger pressure’ on acupoints aimed to elicit the body’s vital energy - Qi. Done on a massage table. Session is usually done with client fully dressed. Please come with or bring comfortable clothing to allow full range of motion of arms and legs.
