Victor Escorbores is a Doctor of Acupuncture and a Licensed Massage Therapist. He is a lifelong learner and a lover of knowledge. It was his desire to further his knowledge which led him to the healing arts of Acupuncture and Massage.
Victor began training and studying martial arts at the age 15. After many years of training and studying, he was granted the opportunity to join the JSKA United States Karate team. In this capacity he fought internationally, representing the United States of America. During his years of training, there were several occasions that resulted in musculoskeletal injuries. When an injury occurred, he was directed by his instructor to receive acupuncture and massage. The relief he received was the impetus to his life's study.
Victor first earned a bachelor’s of Science from Stony Brook University and culminated his studies at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine obtaining his Doctorate in Acupuncture and his degree in massage therapy. He realized very early that massage and acupuncture are complementary modalities in treating those who are in pain. His purpose and vision are to create a healing space to assist those who are suffering on the road to optimal health. Victor is particularly adept at treating musculoskeletal injuries including, but not limited to knee, lumbar and neck pain. He also has experience in effectively treating stress, and a variety of psycho emotional issues.
He is fluent in Spanish and is always interested in broadening his depth of knowledge to better serve others. Victor's philosophy, simply stated, is "seek and you will find, do your best to bring about the best in others and live by the Golden Rule."
